The quest

Leave
Traveling miles to find yourself again
Meeting new people to get to know You better
Putting the world in motion to discover where you belong
Fighting the boundaries of space and time to define your own limits
Is it working?
And what if,
Floating in atmosphere and minutes to sense the contours of your being
Standing still to better perceive our own mark on the world
Withdrawing to finally hear your soul telling about her
Stopping to let your mind can catch you up
And what if you should just,
Stay.

L’autre virus

I wrote this little poem for the attention of an elderly women that I don’t know, which has been made possible by the solidarity platform 1lettre1sourire.org.
It has been inspired to me by the headline of this initiative, whose aim is to bring a little bit of joy to our isolated elders and which is leaning on ten young motivated and united cousins, aged from 14 to 24 years old. Thanks to them, my little words might hopefully touch the heart of one or more persons, who surely have never needed love more than now.

You failed

You failed,

Leaders, you failed to address the grief and need, unchanged in time and across borders.
People, you failed to choose for yourself indeed, which is the prime of all your powers.

Religions, you failed in your self-assigned mission to duplicate the divine into the human.
Atheism, you failed in your vain revolution to annihilate the true shrine enslaving the mind.

Capitalists, you failed to offer a better paradigm as soon as you deliberately stopped listening to the demand.
Communists, you failed to fulfill a greater dream as soon as you desperately started raising a cold nightmare.

Elders, you failed to be the searchlight on youth’s future, though you sacrificed your glittering innocence for the benefit of wise experience, we are still toddling in the dark.
Youth, you failed to be the lighthouse of elders’ past, to them you’re an artifice of alienating reminiscences, lousy drumbeats and weird dances, though still not igniting the spark.

… , you all failed …

… , we all failed.
